Keeping your lenses clear
Amber lenses are coated. Treat them gently and they stay optically clean for years.
- Rinse first, wipe second. Dust is abrasive — run the lenses under lukewarm water before touching them with a cloth.
- Use the microfiber cloth in the box. Tissues, shirt sleeves and paper towels leave fine scratches.
- A drop of mild dish soap is all you need. Dry with the microfiber, never with heat.
- Never use alcohol, ammonia, glass cleaner or acetone — they strip the coating.
Keeping the frame straight
- Remove them with both hands, one on each temple — one-handed removal is what bends frames out of alignment.
- Don't park them on your head; it splays the temples permanently.
- Store them in the hard case, lenses facing up.
- Keep them out of a parked car. Dashboard heat warps acetate and softens coatings.

All measurements in millimetres. Frames are measured flat, lens to lens.
| Model | Shape | Lens width | Bridge | Temple |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Luna | Round | 47 | 24 | 147 |
| Somnia | Square wayfarer | 53 | 19 | 148 |
| Cavana | Cat eye | 55 | 18 | 142 |
- Lens width — the widest point of one lens.
- Bridge — the gap between the two lenses, over your nose.
- Temple — the arm, from hinge to the tip behind your ear.
These three numbers are printed inside one of the temples on most glasses, usually as 53□19 148. Find them on a pair you already wear comfortably and match them to the row above — within 2–3 mm on lens width and bridge will fit much the same.

Passed on three standards
One lens, three certifications. Every value below is read off that same report.
94–99% of blue light blocked
Across 400–450 nm the narrow band that suppresses melatonin at night transmittance measures between 0.10% and 5.58% on a spectrometer. Mean transmittance across the wider 380–500 nm band is 6.41%.
99.8% of UV blocked
UVB transmittance 0.04%, UVA 0.06%, and 0.23% maximum across the whole 280–400 nm range. Full UV400 protection.
Amber tint, hard multi-coat
Filter category 1 at 49.69% light transmission — dark enough to work, light enough that red and yellow signal lights still pass recognition testing.
Not certified for road use or driving. Built for evenings indoors.
Report: Lens CR-39 UV++ amber tint HMC. Tested to EN ISO 12312-1:2022, AS/NZS 1067.1:2016+A1:2021 and ANSI Z80.3-2018(R2023). Filter category 1. Per the report, these lenses are not suitable for road use or driving.

Lens architecture
Five layers. One job: block the blue.
The amber tint isn't styling it's the only pigment that absorbs the 400–550nm wavelengths that tell your brain it's still daytime. Everything else in the stack protects that one working layer.
